DEPT.404 is a Veteran owned and Veteran supporting clothing label for the people the system never quite filed correctly. The beautifully glitched. The fashionably offline. Anyone who has opened their wardrobe and received an emotional error message.

The name says it. 404 — not found. It is the error you hit when the thing you are looking for was never in the system to begin with. That is the whole idea. DEPT.404 is for the style, the humour and the identities that do not fit the standard template, turned into something you can actually wear.

> WHERE IT STARTED

DEPT.404 began with a simple frustration: good people with good ideas, real communities, veterans, creators and small projects, all sitting on logos and jokes and stories that deserved to exist in the real world, but getting crushed the moment they tried. High minimums. Confusing setup. Boxes of unsold stock in a spare room. The system made it hard to turn an idea into a shirt without taking on all the risk yourself.

So we built the workaround. A print on demand clothing platform where a design becomes a product without the upfront cost, the warehouse, or the gamble. No minimum order nightmares. No dead stock. Just clean gear, made when it is ordered.

DEPT.404 is a Veteran owned label first, and a platform second, built to support the Veteran community at every step. Our own drops fund the business and raise money for Veteran programs, future courses and community projects. Every piece you buy keeps the lights on and pushes something forward.

But we are bigger than our own merch. DEPT.404 brings multiple brands together under one roof, so other Veteran brands, creators and communities can sell their gear through our store and promote what they are building, without carrying the cost or the complexity on their own. We host official merch for projects like LAZY AI with PB and Friday Night Lights, and we are always making room for more.

We are not interested in throwaway joke shirts that sit at your belly button after two washes. We build on AS Colour blanks, pre shrunk for durability, so the fit you buy is the fit you keep.
